1957 Ford Thunderbird “57 T-Bird” Resto-Mod!

Listing No.: 50414

Model: 1957 Ford Thunderbird

Price: SOLD. We have others; call us for details.

This beautiful 1957 Ford Thunderbird resto-mod was a two year project. A complete disassembly was performed and the car was rebuilt around a state-of-the-art, Art Morrison Air Ride Chassis and suspension components that deliver superior handling and ride quality. The quick ratio rack and pinion provides precise response to steering inputs. Wilwood 4 wheel power disc brakes bring this "Resto-Bird" to a smooth and predictable stop from highway speeds, with precision. Its power comes from a Ford Racing 302 C. I. engine with SVO heads and a Weiand under-the-hood supercharger producing 485 horsepower. It is mated with a TCI Built C-4 automatic Transmission with a Hurst shifter, allowing manual or automatic shifting. The transmission is designed and built to handle the extra torque from the blown Ford Racing engine. Power gets to the ground via a 9" Ford posi-trac differential with 3.50:1 gears. The power rolls on predictably and the throttle is easy to manage. This 1957 Thunderbird is fun to drive with pleasant street manners.

The interior is new with custom leather upholstery, carpet, console (with door and air ride controls), Auto Meter Pro Comp gauges, and a Grant custom steering wheel bolted to a Flaming River steering column. All of this rides on a custom set of Coddington Wheels.

Everything works perfectly. This is one of the nicest, best performing '57 T-Birds we've ever seen. Over $150,000 invested in a flawless build. You can own it for less than half that price! It 's located in in Southern California and available for a pre-purchase inspection.
